June 2008 – Forging the way for hundreds of
attempters, Kassav has remained
impressionably popular for three decades.
Thirty years of hit songs that placed Zouk

1979 when this group, spearheaded by Pierre-Edouard

NY, as well as Gerald Firmin Producer of
Kaliko Productions, Fl. Forming a joint
venture with EMI, one of the most affluent
record labels in the world, this double
charged powerhouse has signed an exclusive
five year agreement as the North American
Management, Representative, Album Producer
and official Label for Kassav.
With Altino’s experience in the past from
working with Grammy Award winner John
Legend, Hip-Hop prodigy KRS1 and newcomer
Lupe Fiasco, coupled with Firmin’s passion
for music as a Club Owner, Record Producer
and major band representative for Haitian
music megastars Djakout Mizik and Krezi
Mizik, this partnership has already broke
ground to host Kassav’s hottest summer tour
in years.
With the Northern American release of All U
Need is Zouk, an album that has already sold
hundreds of thousands since its European
release in December 2007, Kaliko Productions
and S.O.B.’s is proud to present Kassav to
cities like Washington D.C. on July 24,
2008, Montreal, New York, Boston and
Toronto.
Zouk lovers will unite, nostalgia will take
flight and Kassav will ignite the stage like
they have done for thirty years with the
likes of Jacob Desvarieux, Patrick Saint-Eloi
and the lovely Jocelyne Beroard. Packing
stadiums around the world is no small feat

summer tour has already begun to pronounce
another platinum record for this group with
