BelO "The voice against
Haiti's suffering"
BelO,
Haitian international singer-songwriter,
captured the Radio France International "Découvertes"
Award in 2006 and a tour of 11 different African
nations with his debut album" LAKOU TRANKIL".
BelO's sophomore album, "REFERENCE," has
solidified his status as a socially conscious
songwriter with a sophisticated sound. The
recording delivers a sublime mixture of Jazz,
Worldbeat, Rock, Reggae and Afro-Haitian
traditional rhythms. BelO's mesmerizing vocals
have been compared to Bob Marley and Peter
Gabriel, but on "REFERENCE" his voice is
unquestionably his own. BelO continues to thrill
audiences across the globe and actively seeks
new opportunities to bring his music and message
of peace to the world.
Joe's
Pub, home of international stars on an intimate
